The plain statement
DIY Project takes part in affiliate programs. When you click certain links to a retailer and buy something, the retailer pays us a small commission. You pay the same price either way.

Where the links are
Affiliate links appear in shopping lists on guides and projects, and on our buying guides in the Shop section. Pages that carry them say so near the links.
What it doesn't change
We recommend the cheapest thing that does the job first. We tell you when to borrow, rent or skip a purchase altogether. Nobody pays to be included in a guide.
Prices and stock
Prices we show are estimates. The retailer sets the real price, and it can change at any time. Check the retailer's page before you buy.
