How to make it

Safety

Keep loose beads away from kids under 3.

  1. Step 1: Cut the cord
    1

    Cut the cord

Cut 6 in for each ring. Extra length gives you room to knot.

  2. Step 2: String the beads
    2

    String the beads

Thread about 1 1/2 in of seed beads with 1 accent bead in the middle.

  3. Step 3: Test the size
    3

    Test the size

Wrap it around your finger. Add or take off beads until it slides over your knuckle snug.

  4. Step 4: Knot it
    4

    Knot it

Tie 2 square knots. Paint a dot of clear polish on the knot.

  5. Step 5: Trim the tails
    5

    Trim the tails

Wait 5 minutes, then snip close to the knot.

Edie's tip

Dip the cord end in polish and let it harden. It turns into a built-in needle.
