How to make it

Safety

Dot marker caps are small enough to choke on. Keep them out of reach during play.

  1. Step 1: Tape the paper
    1

    Tape the paper

Tape the paper to the table so it doesn't slide.

  2. Step 2: Take the caps off
    2

    Take the caps off

Pull off the caps and put them on a high shelf.

  3. Step 3: Show a dab
    3

    Show a dab

Press 1 marker down. Lift it. Look, a circle.

  4. Step 4: Let them dab
    4

    Let them dab

Hand over the markers. Hard dabs make big splats.

  5. Step 5: Cap them
    5

    Cap them

Put the caps back on when they're done so they don't dry out.

Edie's tip

Draw a few big circles for them to fill. Or a snowman. Or a caterpillar.
