How to make it
1Make the first row
Make 20 loops in a row along the yarn, each pulled through the one before it. This is your chain.
2Start row 2
Pull a loop of working yarn up through the first chain loop from behind.
3Keep pulling loops
Pull a new loop up through each loop in the row. Work left to right.
4Keep the size even
Make each loop about 2 fingers wide. Even loops make a flat blanket.
5Join new skeins
Overlap the old and new ends by 6 in. Knit with both together for 3 loops.
6Bind off
Pull the second loop through the first, then the third through that. Repeat to the end and tuck the tail in.
Chenille yarn holds best. Wool roving falls apart with use.
