How to make it

Safety

Never leave a lit candle alone, and burn it on a plate away from curtains.

  1. Step 1: Warm the sheet
    1

    Warm the sheet

Wave a hair dryer over the wax for a few seconds. Warm wax bends instead of cracking.

  2. Step 2: Cut the wick
    2

    Cut the wick

Cut it 1 in longer than the sheet's short side.

  3. Step 3: Start the roll
    3

    Start the roll

Lay the wick along 1 edge. Fold the wax over it tightly.

  4. Step 4: Roll it up
    4

    Roll it up

Roll slowly and evenly, keeping the bottom edge lined up.

  5. Step 5: Seal the seam
    5

    Seal the seam

Press the last edge into the candle with your thumb.

  6. Step 6: Trim the wick
    6

    Trim the wick

Cut it to 1/4 in above the top.

Edie's tip
