How to make it

Safety

Use meringue powder instead of raw egg whites if anyone will eat the house, and check for food allergies before candy goes out.

    3

    Build 4 walls

Pipe icing on a plate. Stand 4 cracker squares in it to make a box, icing every edge that touches.

  4. Step 4: Add the roof

    Add the roof

Lay 2 crackers on top at an angle like a tent. Pipe icing along the peak.

    Decorate

Stick candies on with dots of icing. Pipe icicles along the roof edge.

Edie's tip

A small milk carton makes a sturdy core. Ice crackers onto its sides and the house won't collapse.
