    Collect small treasures

Walk outside and gather small, thin leaves and petals. Thin things let more light through.

Peel the backing off 1 piece of contact paper. Tape it sticky side up on the table.

    Press on the leaves

Let your child stick the leaves anywhere they like. Pressing and peeling is great finger work.

  4. Step 4: Seal the top
    4

    Seal the top

Lay the second sheet over the top, sticky side down. Smooth from the middle out to push out bubbles.

  5. Step 5: Trim and hang
    5

    Trim and hang

Trim the edges into a circle or leaf shape. Tape it to a sunny window.

Edie's tip

Lay a cut paper frame on top before sealing. It hides the edges and makes it look finished.
