    Tape the cord end

Wrap tape around one end of the cord to make a stiff tip. It threads beads like a shoelace.

    4

    Thread a pattern

String beads in a pattern, like 3 small and 1 big. Leave 6 in of cord at each end.

    Add the tassels

Tie a tassel to each end of the cord with a double knot. Trim the tails and drape it on a shelf.

Edie's tip

Make 3 tassels and tie one to the middle too. It weighs the center down into a nice swag.
